The mother source

The critically edited digital editions published by the Ahlulbayt Library — the largest digitization project of the Imami heritage — in their original structural format, preserving the page numbering of the reference print editions, their editors’ footnotes and their book cards. Where no text edition exists, a scanned edition is used and every result from it is explicitly labelled as such.

Structural distinction within a single book

Body text — the author’s words, the primary retrieval target.
Editor’s footnotes — merged at their exact anchors, tagged, arriving with their text rather than severed from it.
Editor’s unanchored remarks — manuscript variants and omissions, tagged separately.
Commentary blocks — glosses interwoven in some editions, tagged as such.
Annotated core texts — where one scholar’s text and another’s annotations share a book, each statement is attributed to its own author.

Every book’s card

Each book carries a complete bibliographic card parsed automatically from its source: title, author and death year, editor, edition and print year, publisher, volume, and library classification — available to the researcher through a dedicated tool, so citation precedes quotation.

When a text is absent, the corpus does not invent a substitute — it states the absence.

About the corpus material

Moheet Corpus is built on the texts of the Ahlulbayt Library (peace be upon them), the fruit of long work in collecting, collating and verifying by those who run it, in service of the heritage of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). We took these texts as the foundation we build upon: we indexed them semantically, linked their concepts and figures in a single knowledge graph, and traced every passage to its book, volume and page. We ask God to reward our brothers at the Ahlulbayt Library for all they have given to scholarship and its people.

The corpus is an independent project undertaken by Sadiqoon Technologies.
