https://mcp.moheet-ablibrary.net/mcp/moheetAdding the connector in the Claude app on your computer (Claude Desktop):
- ⚠️ Set-up is done from a computer (laptop or desktop), not a phone. If the Claude Desktop app is not installed, download it here, install it, and sign in.
- On your computer, open the Claude Desktop app.
- Open Settings: on Mac from the top menu bar Claude → Settings; on Windows from the gear icon ⚙ at the bottom-left of the window.
- In the side menu of the Settings window choose Connectors (called Integrations in older versions).
- Scroll to the bottom of the Connectors page and click the Add custom connector button.
- In the Name field type: Moheet
- In the Remote MCP server URL field paste the URL you copied above.
- Leave the other options of the window as they are (you will see the word Detected next to the correct ones) and type nothing in “Additional request headers”. Click Add.
- A green page with the SADIQOON logo opens, titled “Authorize Claude”. On that page click the green button Authorize and continue.
- You return to the Claude app and the connector shows as Connected. Installation is complete.
- To use the connector: in a new chat inside Claude click the + button below the message box → Connectors → make sure the Moheet connector is enabled → ask Claude in Arabic or English as you would ask a scholar, e.g. “Which narrations on hoarding are in al-Kafi?” — Claude will answer citing the source.
Installing and enabling the connector requires a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max or Team). If an error message appears during installation: close the add-connector window and start again from this page.
Do you use Claude in the browser (claude.ai)? This button opens the add-connector window with its fields already filled in — then click Add only:
◆ Add the connector to Claude (web version) in one clickChatGPT has no one-click button for adding a connector, so the steps are manual — and are done only once:
A) Enable “Developer mode” in ChatGPT (once only)
- ⚠️ Set-up is done from a computer, not a phone: open ChatGPT in your computer’s browser, or download the ChatGPT desktop app here.
- Open ChatGPT (browser or app) and click your name / avatar at the bottom-left of the screen, then choose Settings.
- In the settings menu choose Apps (in some accounts it is called Connectors).
- Scroll down to Advanced settings and switch on Developer mode. This option means nothing technical — it is only the permission to add connectors from outside the OpenAI store.
B) Add the corpus connector
- Go back to Settings → Connectors and click the Create (or Add) button.
- Name: type Moheet. Description: type any short description of the connector (e.g. research corpus).
- MCP Server URL: paste the following URL into this field:
https://mcp.moheet-ablibrary.net/mcp/moheet- In the Authentication field choose OAuth. Leave the Client ID and Secret fields empty.
- Tick “I trust this application” and click the Create button.
- The green SADIQOON page opens → click the Authorize and continue button → you return to ChatGPT and the connector appears as added.
C) Using the connector
- In a new chat inside ChatGPT click the + button next to the message box → More (or Apps) → choose the Moheet connector → ask ChatGPT in Arabic or English.
⚠️ Installing and enabling the connector requires a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro or Business). Free accounts cannot add external connectors yet — we are working on listing the corpus in the OpenAI store to make the connector available to them.
